THE REAL RECAP: LEMONADE, LOVE, AND THE “LOAN” THAT MELTED ME
The Weekly Wealth Letter You Actually Feel

Last week was a blur — one of those “did I even sleep?” kinds of weeks.
But the weekend? That’s where the magic happened.
Saturday morning, the boys had an idea: a lemonade stand.
Now let me tell you — it was hot as hell. But that didn’t stop them.
What started off as a basic “get the powder from the store” conversation turned into a full-on lesson in quality, cost, and entrepreneurship.
Lincoln wanted to go the instant powder route.
So I hit pause and said, “Let’s talk about what real lemonade could be.”
We broke it down:
Zesting lemons → making syrup
Juicing lemons
Customizing tart vs. sweet based on customer taste
Adding strawberries to offer flavor variety

They LOVED it. We hit the store, ingredients in hand, and I loaned them $8 to get started.
Saturday morning, they were up early making cardboard signs, setting up around the neighborhood. 3.5 hours later?
Over $50 in pure profit.
And then — this is the part that caught me straight in the heart — Lincoln came in during their lunch break and said:
“Dad, we can pay back the loan now.”
If you know me, you already know I grinned so wide it hurt. That wasn’t just business. That was character. That was integrity. That was a moment.
That’s legacy work.
Later that weekend, we got back into our groove:
Homemade sandwich bread
Smoked tri-tip for lunch meat
Fresh buns
Steak tacos
From scratch. All of it.

Hot-ass weekend, yes. But also full of sweat, joy, and moments that matter.
Oh — and tonight? We meet with Lincoln’s coach.
Two former D1 athletes talking development frustrations.
Stay tuned next week for what goes down.
CURRENT REALITY CHECK: FAKE WARS & THE MARKETS THAT DON’T CARE
This week, the U.S. bombed Iran. Iran struck back.
Then came the “ceasefire that’s not really a ceasefire.”
Sounds like war, right?
Maybe. Maybe not.
Here’s what I really think:
This is geopolitical posturing. Strategic theater. A setup.
And I’m not here to fan the WWIII panic flames — but I’m also not naïve.
This moment doesn’t scream “World War,” but it does whisper, “Watch what happens next.”
Now, what should we be seeing?
Markets tanking
Oil prices skyrocketing
Fear-based sell-offs
But what did we see?
The opposite.
Markets shrugged. Oil barely moved.
Translation? Big money knows this ain’t it. Not yet.
The markets speak louder than headlines. And when they don’t panic — it’s because nothing real is happening (yet).
Good or bad — follow the money. It always tells the truth eventually.

THE SOUL CHECK-IN: SPINNING YOUR WHEELS?
Let me ask you something:
Are you happy where you are right now?
No filters. No audience. Just you.
Are you feeling stuck?
Spinning your wheels?
Wondering if you’re doing something wrong while the world looks like it's passing you by?
Let me tell you something that’s very real and rarely said:
You’re not alone.
Feeling like you’re behind is normal.
Questioning everything is part of the process.
Wanting something different doesn’t make you broken — it makes you aware.
This week, give yourself a break.
Talk to someone. Call a friend. Text your mentor. Take a walk.
Because whatever you're going through — it’s survivable.
And more importantly, it’s shared.
You’re not out here by yourself.
FINAL WORD
From lemonade stands to fake ceasefires to homemade tacos — this week reminded me of something simple:
Legacy is built in the ordinary.
And peace? That’s a wealth strategy too.
Let’s get real.
