SOCIETY'S SELF-DESTRUCTION: WE'RE TEARING EACH OTHER DOWN WHEN WE SHOULD BE RISING UP
The hard truth about why we attack instead of support - and what it's costing all of us

Are you tired of watching people get destroyed online for simply sharing information? Fed up with the keyboard warriors who offer nothing but "do better" and "stay in your lane" comments?
This week's NO BS WEALTH episode tackles the elephant in the room that nobody wants to address: our collective addiction to tearing each other down.
I didn't hold back. And I'm not sorry about it.
In "Why Are We The Way We Are?" I rip into the toxic culture we've created where small businesses and everyday people trying to share knowledge get shredded, while celebrities and the ultra-wealthy get praised and elevated.
Here's the brutal reality: The rich are getting richer while we waste time attacking each other in comment sections.
Let me ask you something: When was the last time you saw a financial post on social media that didn't have "professionals" in the comments ripping it to shreds? When my colleague Ang posted about insurance, she got absolutely demolished. For what? Trying to share information?
This episode isn't about politics or pushing an agenda. It's about recognizing that there are millions of people out there who never see good financial advice because they're overwhelmed by the noise and hostility.
Meanwhile, those same people are getting quietly fleeced by financial "professionals" who care more about commissions than clients.
THIS IS BIGGER THAN MONEY
This toxic dynamic doesn't just play out in financial advice. It's everywhere.
We've somehow created a world where:
Asking questions publicly makes you vulnerable to ridicule
Sharing information gets you labeled as "dangerous" or "uninformed"
Building up others is seen as weakness while tearing them down gets engagement
The most telling part? When I create content that challenges the status quo, two things happen:
Industry "experts" attack me in the comments
Regular people message me privately saying "keep going, we need this"
WHAT WE REALLY NEED
In the episode, I share a personal story about my brother Robbie and how simply picking up the phone and talking regularly—about nothing important—has become revolutionary in today's world.
Human connection. Real conversation. Lifting each other up.
These aren't just nice ideas. They're the antidote to the poison that's spreading through our society.
THE CHALLENGE
I'm challenging everyone who reads this newsletter to do something radical:
Share information freely without fear
Ask questions publicly without shame
Lift others up instead of tearing them down
This isn't just about making social media less toxic. It's about creating a foundation where we can actually help each other succeed instead of watching the wealthy elite continue to concentrate power.
If we don't come together, I promise you this: the rich will keep getting richer, more powerful, and there will be nothing we can do about it.
THE CHOICE IS YOURS
You can keep scrolling through the digital wasteland, watching people destroy each other in comment sections.
Or you can be part of the solution.
Watch the full episode. Share it. Comment on it. Let's have the conversation that needs to happen.
Because the truth is: We're in this together, whether we like it or not.
If this resonates with you, subscribe to the newsletter. Follow NO BS WEALTH. Be part of a community that's committed to lifting each other up instead of tearing each other down.
The time for bullshit is over. The time for real talk and real support is now.
What side of history will you be on?
